干㸆虾的做法
Warm up the pan. Add oil in and add shrimp while the oil is still cold to pan fry the shrimp
Take off the shrimp and add ginger powder and minced garlic
(per the original recipe, you could add some ginger and scallion slices)Add the shrimp back and add mirin (originally you could put the shao-xing), then some water, and 1/2 tsp salt and black pepper and 5 tsp sugar.
- I also added the seafood magic in this variationAdd the lid on and steam for 2.5 mins
Take off the lid and add 1 tsp sugar to thicken the sauce. Take off the shrimp to the plate
Add the sesame oil and bump up temperature to thicken the sauce. Pour the sauce over the shrimp and viola
